I'm my best self when I talk to my cat

I don't know about you but my voice is completely different when I'm talking to one of my cats.  It doesn't have that aggressive, overly confident tone that it usually has like when I'm talking to my husband (that's his interpretation!).  My voice takes on a sweet harmonious melodic quality...
